Thomas lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Strasbourg Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,750.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Thomas could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

Wanted to say thank you properly. 9% funded and the plan for first-year servicing plan is now scheduled.
Quick update: $236 raised so far (6%). I made the first payment toward delivery and set-up. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
