After years of caregiving, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Shubra Counselling Collective cost $15 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
