Therapy fund for Tharun: 20 sessions with a licensed counselor
A course of EMDR therapy for Tharun could change everything; the cost is $200.
🇮🇳 Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India1,375 views
After the death of both parents, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Aurangabad cost $20 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
Where the $200 goes:
• 20 therapy sessions: $140
• Psychiatric assessment: $50
• Workbook and resources: $10
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thanks for sharing this, Tharun. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't give up. Love from Kyiv.
good luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care!
