After the loss of my brother, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at Bogra Wellbeing Centre cost $10 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
Where the $300 goes:
• 24 therapy sessions: $230
• Psychiatric assessment: $45
• Workbook and resources: $25
Every share and every dollar helps.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Bogra
Thank you. If you're in Bogra I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. It helps to be asked.
Thinking of you and your family, Rubina. Hope you get there.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Bogra.
Good luck. Hope the doctors have good news. Wish I lived closer to Narayanganj so I could bring a meal.
Hope it all works out. Hope the doctors have good news. Greetings from Oakland
You're not alone, Rubina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together.
