After a violent robbery, Luca has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Belfast cost $85 each.
Luca has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Luca could afford. The therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Luca, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
