Therapy fund for Kai: 10 sessions with a licensed counselor
A course of family counseling for Kai could change everything; the cost is $2,700.
🇺🇸 United States1,340 views
After bullying at school, Kai has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 6 months, and private sessions at a private practice in Columbus cost $105 each.
Kai has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Kai could afford. The therapist recommends 10 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Kai, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• 10 therapy sessions: $2,400
• Psychiatric assessment: $230
• Workbook and resources: $70
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

thinking of you, Natalia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Columbus.
look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Heliopolis.
Thanks for sharing this. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Thinking of you, Natalia. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Mississauga
