Therapy fund for Kagiso: 24 sessions with a licensed counselor
After military deployment, Kagiso has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $655.

After military deployment, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to weekly cognitive behavioral therapy, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Pretoria Counselling Collective cost $20 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $655 goes:
• 24 therapy sessions: $560
• Psychiatric assessment: $90
• Workbook and resources: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

What exactly is the $655 for?
Sure. The biggest one is 24 therapy sessions, $560. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
hope it all works out, Kagiso. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Pretoria.
Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Rawalpindi so I could bring a meal. Love from Rome
