After a violent robbery, Juma has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at the Kikuyu Counselling Collective cost $15 each. Juma has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Juma could afford. The therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Juma, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable. Where the $300 goes: • 24 therapy sessions: $250 • Psychiatric assessment: $35 • Workbook and resources: $15 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Rashidi
