After a violent robbery, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at the Montréal Counselling Collective cost $120 each. I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment. The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record. Where the $1,350 goes: • 16 therapy sessions: $1,150 • Psychiatric assessment: $190 • Workbook and resources: $10 If you're reading this, thank you.
