After military deployment, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at a private practice in San Jose cost $120 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 24 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Araceli.
Sure. The biggest one is 24 therapy sessions, $1,050. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
