The Unity health centre yard needs a solar-powered water pump - Kehinde's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $250 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $250.
It will serve about 104 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $250 goes:
• Materials: $155
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
Thank you for reading my story.
