The Unity community hall needs a solar-powered water pump - Fadi's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Allentown are raising $2,100 for a solar-powered water pump at the Unity community hall.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,100.
It will serve about 207 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
