Volunteers in Quezon City are raising $500 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the Unity community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 542 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Materials: $400
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
