The Unity community hall needs a repair café workshop - Quỳnh's neighborhood project

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 584 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $450 goes: • Materials: $300 • Permits and inspections: $35 • Safety equipment and signage: $35 • Tools hire and delivery: $80 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
