The Unity community hall needs a repair café workshop - Aileen's neighborhood project

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 237 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $300 goes: • Permits and inspections: $45 • Tools hire and delivery: $85 • Materials: $170 Thank you so much. - Aileen
