The Unity community hall needs a free library and reading room - Jumoke's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $450 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 88 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $360
