The Unity community hall needs a community fridge - Serenity's neighborhood project
A community-led a community fridge at the Unity community hall that will serve 483 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,700.
It will serve about 483 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $320
• Safety equipment and signage: $150
• Materials: $2,230
