The Union vacant lot needs a solar-powered water pump - Hendrik's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $400 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 282 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Tools hire and delivery: $80
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Materials: $285
