The Union health centre yard needs a solar-powered water pump - Naomi's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $2,150 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,150.
It will serve about 570 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Permits and inspections: $360
• Safety equipment and signage: $540
• Tools hire and delivery: $300
