The Union community hall needs a community fridge - Funmilayo's neighborhood project

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union community hall, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 562 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly.
