The Sycamore health centre yard needs a community fridge - Joyce's neighborhood project
A community-led a community fridge at the Sycamore health centre yard that will serve 589 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $4,000.
It will serve about 589 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $4,000 goes:
• Materials: $3,250
• Permits and inspections: $180
• Safety equipment and signage: $280
• Tools hire and delivery: $290
