The Sycamore health centre yard needs a community fridge - Ibrahim's neighborhood project

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 306 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
