The Sycamore community hall needs a covered market stall space - Renato's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $600 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $600. It will serve about 587 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $600 goes: • Permits and inspections: $130 • Safety equipment and signage: $45 • Materials: $425 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
