We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $750 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $750.
It will serve about 170 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $750 goes:
• Materials: $540
• Permits and inspections: $80
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
