The Pioneer vacant lot needs a repair café workshop - Bruno's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $250 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $250. It will serve about 97 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $250 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $145 • Safety equipment and signage: $50 • Permits and inspections: $55 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Bruno
