The Pioneer community hall needs a playground - Carter's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $3,000 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,000.
It will serve about 572 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $440
• Tools hire and delivery: $200
• Materials: $2,360
