The old Unity bus depot needs a repair café workshop - Óscar's neighborhood project
A community-led a repair café workshop at the old Unity bus depot that will serve 332 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Unity bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,500.
It will serve about 332 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Materials: $990
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
• Tools hire and delivery: $240
Thank you so much.
