We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $450 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Union bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 99 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $450 goes: • Materials: $330 • Tools hire and delivery: $70 • Safety equipment and signage: $50 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Emon
