The old Union bus depot needs a covered market stall space - Sarah's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $3,250 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Union bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,250.
It will serve about 170 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Materials: $2,550
• Permits and inspections: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $230
• Tools hire and delivery: $220
