The old Sycamore bus depot needs a repair café workshop - Omar's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $400 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 340 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $400 goes: • Materials: $290 • Permits and inspections: $45 • Safety equipment and signage: $15 • Tools hire and delivery: $50 Every share and every dollar helps.
