The old Sycamore bus depot needs a playground - Márcia's neighborhood project
A community-led a playground at the old Sycamore bus depot that will serve 401 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $850.
It will serve about 401 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $850 goes:
• Materials: $520
• Permits and inspections: $90
• Safety equipment and signage: $105
• Tools hire and delivery: $135
