The old Sycamore bus depot needs a community fridge - Nnamdi's neighborhood project
A community-led a community fridge at the old Sycamore bus depot that will serve 186 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 186 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $155
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $90
