For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $150. It will serve about 551 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $150 goes: • Permits and inspections: $50 • Safety equipment and signage: $65 • Tools hire and delivery: $35 Glad we found this place.

  2. Update from Kharkiv: I made the first payment toward safety equipment and signage. We're at 55% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  3. Quick update: $83 raised so far (55%). the plan for permits and inspections is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
