The old Maple bus depot needs a youth football pitch - Marcus's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $850 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Maple bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $850.
It will serve about 385 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $850 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $185
• Tools hire and delivery: $310
• Permits and inspections: $355
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

wishing you the best. Great idea, hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Barranquilla
