The old Maple bus depot needs a sensory garden for children with autism - Sylvie's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Nice are raising $750 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the old Maple bus depot.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Maple bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $750.
It will serve about 119 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $750 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $330
• Permits and inspections: $130
• Tools hire and delivery: $290
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hang in there, Sylvie. Hope this works out for you.
Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Jakarta.
