The old Jacaranda bus depot needs a skate park - Matilde's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,000 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,000.
It will serve about 295 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $1,250
• Permits and inspections: $100
• Safety equipment and signage: $330
• Tools hire and delivery: $320
