The old Jacaranda bus depot needs a sensory garden for children with autism - Zulkifli's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Denpasar are raising $350 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the old Jacaranda bus depot.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $65, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 434 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $200
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $75
• Tools hire and delivery: $30
