The old Jacaranda bus depot needs a playground - Ramón's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $750 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $750. It will serve about 590 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $750 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $170 • Materials: $450 • Permits and inspections: $130 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Ramón
