The old Freedom bus depot needs a rainwater harvesting system - Hana's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $2,800 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Freedom bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,800.
It will serve about 139 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Materials: $2,050
• Permits and inspections: $190
• Safety equipment and signage: $230
• Tools hire and delivery: $330
I hope life is good to you.
