The old Cedar bus depot needs a solar-powered water pump - Priscila's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Uberlândia are raising $700 for a solar-powered water pump at the old Cedar bus depot.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 448 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $470
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Tools hire and delivery: $95
Thank you for reading my story.
