We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $150 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $150. It will serve about 331 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $150 goes: • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $35 • Tools hire and delivery: $90 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
