The old Baobab bus depot needs a skate park - Christopher's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $3,900 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Baobab bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $630, and the remaining cost is $3,900.
It will serve about 371 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
