Yard rescue for Ricardo, 72: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Ricardo, 72, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in Caxias do Sul for 39 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Take care, Ricardo. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Sending strength, Ricardo. This could happen to any of us.
wishing Ricardo a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Take care
You're not alone. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Rio de Janeiro.
Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Zaporizhzhia
