The old Acacia bus depot needs a covered market stall space - Xue's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $3,550 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,550.
It will serve about 115 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,550 goes:
• Materials: $2,700
• Permits and inspections: $200
• Safety equipment and signage: $400
• Tools hire and delivery: $250

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. materials is the biggest at $2,700. Ask me anything else.
