The Maple vacant lot needs a rainwater harvesting system - Colette's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Limoges are raising $2,900 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Maple vacant lot.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,900.
It will serve about 244 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,900 goes:

• Permits and inspections: $200
• Safety equipment and signage: $330
• Tools hire and delivery: $320
