The Maple health centre yard needs a skate park - Hossain's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Dhaka are raising $450 for a skate park at the Maple health centre yard.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 499 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $350
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $25
Thanks for reading all this.

wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Wishing you the best, Hossain. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in.
this could happen to any of us. After 16 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
