The Maple community hall needs a rainwater harvesting system - Shoaib's neighborhood project
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the Maple community hall that will serve 323 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 323 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Materials: $420
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
