The Lotus community hall needs a sensory garden for children with autism - Kerem's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $850 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $280, and the remaining cost is $850.
It will serve about 218 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Tools hire and delivery: $130
