The Lotus community hall needs a repair café workshop - Liliana's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $3,900 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $3,900.
It will serve about 360 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
