The Lotus community hall needs a playground - Muhammad's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $350 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 332 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $180
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
